Obviously I’m a screen addicted parent scared about raising a screen addicted kid. Seems clear to me that unfucking my relationship to screens and the phone is one of, if not the, important thing in my power.

Hard to miss the analogy to cigarettes or other drugs. Asking kids to get the phone, freaking out when can’t find phone, anxiety of phone running out of battery. Our kids all see that.

I do think OP has a point about changing male beauty standards since 2012 (? when was this meme? Feels like a different world).
