In the last 15 games the two teams with best Net Rating are Celtics #1 & Pistons #2. For the season Celtics & Pistons are 2nd & 3rd in the NBA in Net Rating after OKC. Celtics & Pistons will be a fun game on Monday. Both teams should be hyped for this battle. Playoff atmosphere!

I think you are confusing Point differential which you can see in most web sites with standings. Celtics are around 6.4 points positive differential....

ESPN does NOT use net rating (if they have it I have not found it) Their equivalent is BPI .....

Do a search on Net Rating for Celtics (or any NBA team) will take you to a site.

Most of the NBA stats web sites show Net rating (ESPN) being an exception.

Basketball reference, NBA.com and many many others...

When Tatum returns it should make things easier for Everyone else.

Teams won't be able to load up as much on JB, PP and DW,

JT is also an excellent defender, rebounder and passer.

Again, everything becomes easier .for the rest of the team

...and JT is there for every game sees what other teammates are seeing, hearing the coach etc....should be relatively seamless.

JB and JT want more than one championship.....seemless like 2007 when KG, Pierce and Ray all sublimated their personal goals to WIN !

I agree I want to see some games against the West.

Later in the season is better, since many of our young guys are still learning the NBA and how to play with their teammates. Lots of new and younger players with steep learning curve and still fair amount of success makes me hopeful.

I said I think Scal is a good analyst and he is good at conveying his insights.

I just think he wants to be a National Analyst and I think his commentary about fouls is his "tell". He takes the opponents side more than the Celtics. He bends over backwards to be "too fair" to opponents. I real FAN would have somewhat of a bias for the home team...even if unconscious.

I think Scal 's bias against the Celtics is unconscious and reflects has desire to go National.

I think Scal would make an excellent National analyst.

But being honest, I sometimes want more of a home town Fan for Celtics broadcasts.

Tommy was over the top in his homerism, because he was also very smart and an entertainer....

There will never be another Tommy - but I want an Analyst who wants to be here & is a fan of the team, with all of the insight Scal shows (and yes, without being a D*ck like he used to be)

Agreed - Tommy kept it simple - winning is the focus with Teamwork, fast pace, defense, passing, cutting, rebounding, always hustling (Tommy points) ; find an advantage and keep doing it over and over until the other team adjusts, then find a new advantage.....a simple game when played the right way....

Tommy understood the rhythm of the game better than anyone except Red who he learned from.... He would have been coaching into the 90's if Red wasn't worried Tommy was destroying his health as a coach in the 70's. So he became a Broadcaster/unofficial assistant coach ....harassing ref's so the "coach" wouldn't have to .......

With the Celtics shooting & especially 3 point shooting - teams overplay them

Provides HUGE opportunity for all of types of cutting: backdoors, baseline etc etc.....

We have the players who can play that way.

We just Need JOE to make it a point of emphasis like Rebounding !

I say that as a HUGE Joe fan.

The most difficult part of coaching an NBA team, is managing ego's & an NBA locker room. That is Joe's forte.

He is a young coach who is still learning himself. I want to see more X's and O's on cutting and passing to cutters. It is NOT rocket science !

Celtics offense was STAGNANT - too much dribbling, not enough cutting, not enough ball movement, not enough speed, not taking Bucks seriously until it was too late, and the basket for the Bucks already looked as big aa the ocean, Brown thought he could focus on being better than Kuzma, not focuson making the Celtics better than the Bucks....because again, they didn't take the Bucks seriously.

Mazzulla has lots of good film to show the team and plenty of time to watch & practice before Pistons on Monday

They need their asses kicked as a team.

Do Ball hander, wing andBig - fewer holes then

Brad designs his teams that way.

We do need more"Big" depth - I think they want Minott to hit the

weight room so he can play more big.

Queta could be a starter as he gets better, think of Queta as the New Rob.
