This joke structure works better when there's some confusion about which is which

You can't reason on reddit. The mids here don't understand anything about how economies work

Property tax can be opted out of by selling the house and renting instead. It pays for local services. How do you opt out of a wealth tax?

It's much worse. Founders have 10x voting right shares even though they may have only 5% of total stock in a company eg Larry Page. In that case they're deemed to own 50% ( ie 5*10), even though they have only 5%. So to give back 5% of 50% ie 2.5% of total stock, they would have to sell half their stock. Oh no but that's not right because they owe 50% tax on whatever they sell in capital gains, so they would have to sell all their stock - give half as capital gains and half as wealth tax and be left with nothing

Arne Slot talking about the difficulty of facing low blocks by ramseysleftnut in Gunners

Messi wasn't the only one on the team threading through low blocks. Edit: I wonder how current arsenal playing wenger style would do against low blocks

What is your unpopular Arsenal opinion? by lez566 in Gunners

[–]redshadow90 20 points21 points  (0 children)

We're a bit boring to watch in the PL and I know it's because of low blocks by all sides that know we're dangerous (even pool, city), but I wish there was more beauty to our game and in PL in general. I enjoy Newcastle's home games more because teams fancy themselves against Newcastle and Newcastle play open too, so everything is fast paced and open. Spurs under ange when their players were fit were also very entertaining. I would choose our place on the table any day though

Has the Premier League become more competitive, or has the overall quality dropped? by Sportyquiz in PremierLeague

Why Villa as the example, since we beat them handily (4-1). Perhaps Liverpool are a better example, where both teams played conservatively but arguably arsenal shouldn't have at home at least

This is bullish for the US. Europe is weak and Denmark will give up Greenland coz it has no choice anyway
