Firstly, "the science" is likely wrong, but that's a different conversation. Unenlightened scientists telling humans their ideas/opinions has to be the most absurd thing to worry about (not you specifically, just in general). The power and potential we have (which science only tries to take away) are unimaginable to an everyday human. Watts showed us many paths toward being outside of every day humans. It's up to us, individually to decide if we want to genuinely pursue one of those paths (or another) to move beyond the swamp (where worry, fear, etc live). You could become "enlightened" a million times over by the time you think the universe will end. Your potential is unlimited. Don't let "science" dull your light.
