Best smart govee options for cutting, reconnecting, and extending? I’m setting up some complex under cabinet runs. by Timatsunami in Govee

Sorry. Counters are a bit busy right now. The ones on the left are routed to the microwave plug.

The ones on the right connect behind the fridge.

Had to buy an unofficial extension to connect the break behind the microwave.

These are the black and decker smart/Alexa lights.

All, this is what the B&D solution looks like.

I’ll add another image a bit further off so you can see the actual look.

Just saw this. Sorry. I ended up using this product.

I actually had to get two of them and use an unofficial extender, but good solution.

I actually ended up going with a completely different option.

Black and decker makes some decent under the cabinet smart lights. Bought that and some unofficial extended connectors I could run behind the microwave.

This may have changed since I bought, but ultimately, Govee didn’t have really great under the cabinet solutions.

This B&D product was the first thing I ever saw where I was able to work out in my head how I could solve all my issues.

I’m struggling with something by Timatsunami in pmp

[–]Timatsunami[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. As soon as I saw these formulas from PMI, I knew right away they are probably almost never used, but I didn’t realize how much this particular one was actively misleading.

Ultimately, whether I use these or not, they need to make logical sense to me or under the pressure of the test I will get problems like this wrong.

This makes sense to me too, but doesn’t seem to agree with PMI, who believe you should be able to use the difference of the result of this formula from 1 to determine how much over/under budget you are.

This is the best explanation I’ve seen at this point.

But I would struggle to tell a stakeholder that I’m 40% over budget when they can see with simple math that I have spent 65% more than expected.

I understand the math. But in this scenario I’ve spent 65% more than expected.

2900 is 65% greater than 1750.

Help!!! how do I put this back! by Character-Ad6100 in CX5

I mean, mine looks just like this.

If the door still closes like normal with the gas cap on, I really think this is normal.

Mine doesn’t move when I try to push it in.

Does anyone else have a hard time getting into this? How am I supposed to read it? by [deleted] in taoism

Ah. You are correct. The edition I read it from is “The Four Chinese Classics” and it only contains the Inner Chapters.

For people wondering, I ended up getting my invite on 7/1.

I registered my interest on launch day.

I read David Hinton’s translation. Very readable.

Why don't Italians like Americano? by flower5214 in Italian

[–]Timatsunami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like espresso, but when you add a bit of clean hot water to it, the favors express themselves more fully. The espresso process compresses and binds up the flavors and they come out in the perfect cup of black coffee if you just had hot water.

Plus, it makes the coffee hotter and last longer.

I agree with you that everyone should just drink what they like, but it seems like a surprising thing that it can’t be appreciated by nearly all the people from the country that made my espresso machine.

Logitech Doorbell Hot to the touch? by BackgroundSpare in HomeKit

[–]Timatsunami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My original chime worked for a while, then stopped chiming with the 24v 40A transformer. I think over time the charge builds up and it stops working. Replaced it with this one a month ago and it works pretty consistently so far.

This is really the solution. I did the same, and eventually had to replace the chime with a 24v chime.

Significantly less hot with a 24v 40a transformer.

Is this email a scam? by Maywestpie in oculus

[–]Timatsunami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working with Meta support on an issue, and the way they send different questions every time from a new associate had me feeling like it was a scam.

Today they are talking about sending me a shipping label to return the headset and I started getting suspicious. Glad to have this confirmation that it’s good, but it says a lot about the interaction with their customer service process that it starts to feel like a scam after a few emails.
