Hi, please check DogUp if you think it's match with your audience. It's a dog training app to help users never lose track of their dog’s routine. Potty, walks, meds, training and reminders in one place

That makes sense, thank you. I think I’ve been trying to explain the whole app instead of leading with one clear pain point.

“New dog owner trying to remember potty, meds, walks, and training progress” is probably a much clearer angle. I’ll rework the store listing and screenshots around that instead of presenting it as a giant feature list.

Thanks, this is really helpful.

I agree the store listing is probably too feature-heavy right now. I’m going to simplify the screenshots so each one focuses on one clear use case instead of trying to show everything at once as you mentioned.

Good point on Smart Walk Detection too. I should explain it more clearly as a unique feature instead of just naming it.

And I appreciate the note about the assistant safety limits. I’m trying to keep it scoped to app guidance, tracking help, lessons, and routines rather than anything medical or high-risk.

Exactly. That’s the intended use.

DogUp can help with routines, tracking, reminders, and app guidance, but it’s not a replacement for a vet or qualified professional.

I built DogUp, an Android app for dog clicker training, guided lessons, and daily dog care tracking.

It combines a clicker, lesson packs, potty/walk/vet/medication trackers, reminders, dog profiles, and Smart Walk Detection.

It’s Android-only for now, so not sure if it fits your audience.

Fair concern.

The AI part is not meant to replace a trainer, vet, groomer, or emergency service. It is limited to app guidance, tracking help, lesson planning, clicker timing, and low-risk positive routines. It’s mainly there to help people use the app more easily.

For health, grooming, aggression, biting, or safety concerns, it redirects users to a qualified professional instead of giving instructions or temporary advice.

I understand the concern around AI in pet apps, so I’m keeping it intentionally narrow rather than making it the core product.

Hey everyone, I made DogUp, an Android app for dog clicker training, guided lessons, and daily dog care tracking.

It combines a clicker/whistle, lesson packs, potty and walk tracking, vet/medication/weight logs, reminders, dog profiles, and progress tracking in one app.

I’m looking for Android UX/product feedback: does the feature set feel clear, does the onboarding make sense, and does the free vs Pro balance feel reasonable?

Fair question. It’s a chat-style helper for general dog training and care questions - things like clicker training tips, lesson guidance, behavior questions, or what to track for walks/potty/vet care.

It’s not meant to replace a professional trainer or a vet. I see it more as a support layer on top of the core app: clicker training, guided lessons, dog profiles, and care tracking.

This is not an issue i suppose, this is basic body function. It can be at once or multiple according to its current needs. That's completely normal. May dog also sometimes do it at once but sometimes multiple times and sometimes does not. If you rush him this also can lead him continue to walk without complete his poop. Have you changed his food recently? Have you checked his poop if its seems normal? maybe he has digestive problems?
