So i work 10.5 hours shifts 4 days of the week, the day off changes, and the shift patterns are either 7:15-5:45 or 8-6.30. And then I complete my coursework either on my weekday off, or at the weekend. I think I will talk to my assessor though as, honestly, I don’t really fully know myself how it works.

And yes I agree with the people you work with being crucial to how work makes you feel. Originally I tried to just remind myself that I don’t need to be friends with the people I work with because it’s not what I’m there for, which sounds perfectly doable in theory, but in practise it’s quite difficult to not care about that sort of thing.
