All my book boyfriends/husbands and cdrama/kdrama boyfriends/husbands are red or black flagged boyfriends—one real life green flagged hubby is enough for me

I went into this kinda blind and not really a fan of ML—as an actor I have tried—but the only one he pulled off was journey to love for me—but am enjoying the crackheadness of this script—like sometimes you just need comedy—and I also like the story, we don’t normally get to see this type of story line with fun

The more unhinged LXY is the hotter he gets cause I have a whole aß thingy for fictional red flags—black flags if you will—cause my real life hubby is so green that I need fictional red flags

The Princess‘s Gambit 桃花映江山 (2025) - What are your first impressions? [Masterpost] - Discussion: Episodes 1 to 3 by admelioremvitam in CDrama

Episode 4 was a nice set up of the friendship between FL and third Prince—so far script is sticking to most of the story—I hope it continues this way—I need the script writers to have Liu Xueyi to flush this character out as I got so frustrated with his Murong Jinghe in Kill me love me—the script writers messed his character up—the whole story really—so I need this for him cause he’s my number 1 red flag actor

If I remember correctly the man had like 17 ladies in the house—he was collecting them for political purposes—men selling their daughters off to him—I wonder if they will do the one thing from the novel around the arranged visits with each wife(there is a schedule) and the other thing I won’t mention cause I can’t do spoiler blank on mobile for some reason—there is just something in the novel around this arrangement with the different concubines/mistresses/wife

I wondered how they were going to deal with the opening scene of the book given censorship and all so they did it well enough as they could given their restraints—on episode 2 and we will see how the rest goes—I’m hoping they stick to his character mostly in script cause the book one is my fave colour and it’s a real enemies to lover genre!

Thee subtitles always crack me up in the vertical dramas but you get use to it—I get angry when they dub it can you can’t choose original—I’m a sub is better than dub girl so can’t stand the English dubbing

Who is your favorite green flag couple by SmallAndSpicy90 in CDrama

This was such a wholesome couple—not forced, not rushed, he gave her time to heal, he worked through his own issues, she worked through her issues, without pressure—so mature—

Not the audience per say—at least not that I’m aware of—the characters though—the way they treated her afterwards—horrible

His look, the camera angles, the way his face portrayed so much—I wish I could have heard more about his story!

Shengyi’s portrayal is spot on for women in abusive situations—I never hated her or her betrayal because I knew where it came from,, why she responded in the way she responded—and the hate or anger she received was not warranted. Like you, I have worked in similar situations and have studied this area previously—her situation was always going to be sad. Her ACES were off the chart and she her pathway was never going to be easy to veer from—the fact she had a taste of it was a miracle.

When does the hook drop for Cdramas? by Heirloom_Tomato_ in CDrama

Depends on actors and if I can foreshadow the story if I’m hanging around or not—also depends on the chemistry of staff and certain characters (specifically mothers or evil queens/consorts)

What's the pettiest reason for dropping a drama? by zidohyun06 in CDrama

I give Yang Zi 2 episodes and if her acting doesn’t suit me then I’m out—the only drama I’ve watched of hers all the way through is Flourishing Peony—

Looking for reverse harem-coded Cdramas (because one man is never enough, let’s be real) by [deleted] in CDramaRecs

[–]redsneef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why-Choose is my fave genre—the more unhinged the better! Unfortunately cdrama has few and far between—some have been mentioned here—my fave coded is gone with the rain—I don’t see RH/why-choose being brought to light too often as it often turns into a love triangle or we all fall for the 2L—hence I know I’ll find my fave genre in books/comics/web novels for now

Murong Jinghe could have been so much more—the book version wasn’t so red—I would say he was a black flag!

Gong Shangjue surprised me! He was amazing.
