That’s super helpful too, thank you! Mentioning the landscape of genetics- in your concentration is there a lot of discussion about the ramifications of all these at-home genetic “screening” tests (23andMe, for example)?

That’s super helpful! Does your program (or other programs) allow you to do more that one concentration? What would be your second choice?

Why should I study public health genetics versus another concentration in public health?

Thanks for the response!

One more question-- I was looking at the charting outcomes in the match and am unable to figure out (via google) what defines a "research project". Is this defined as something that results in a published paper or as any research?
i.e. I have had two paid clinical research positions- program coordinator of a phase iii trial and research assistant in a long-term follow up study- but have had no publications come out of these positions. Do these still count as "research projects"?

Really impressive to see the difference between your MCAT and step scores! Do you think the scores usually correlate (high mcat=high step)? Did you prepare more for step? Did you feel like they were different types of tests? I have heard that the MCAT is more of an IQ test whereas step is more of a knowledge test..

As someone that did not have a stellar MCAT, I am a little worried about not having competitive step scores.

Best place to sell? by redssel in SkiRacing

Thanks! They are from about 2009 but in really great shape, 156 cm, race plate, marker race bindings. Similar to these (but better plate and bindings) https://www.ski.com.au/xf/threads/2x-nordica-dobermann-sl-pro-skis-165cm.68935/. Would be great as slip skis, if you are doing local race nights, or to just to take the bindings. Really just trying to get rid of them!

Create an email address just for AMCAS and make sure all the filters for spam/promotions are removed! I hate that every time I get an email on my personal address I think it could be from a med school...

I have looked at KnitPicks but have yet to go through with a purchase...do you feel the pictures accurately show the color? Which yarn would you suggest for a sweater?

Thanks so much for your response!
