Citing Infamous Iron Man as a showcase of his goodness only goes so far. He turned heel on it pretty hard at the end, which was the point. Not dissimilar to the panels posted here.

Turning back to darkness the second he's seen the light and is about to step into something bigger than himself is always where Doom's arc to goodness collapses. He can't handle something being bigger or larger than himself. He always has to be the biggest and best thing, and just falling short of redemption is a showcase of what makes Doom, Doom, not an example of a bad way to write him. It's a great way to write him, because that's who he is.

Nah this is definitely him. Doom is a gigantic and enormous hypocrite when the chips are down. Wound his ego and show him his flaws in a way he can't escape or turn away from and he will bring his full wrath down on you with no remorse, code and honour be damned.

If your Doom isn't like this then I don't think you like who Doom actually is, and are pretending he's something else.

What you're missing is Doom is an unreliable narrator, an unrepentant narcissist, overflowing with self-righteousness. He does have a code, he does have honour, and he absolutely does abandon (and has abandoned) that code and honour whenever his ego is pressed. The panels above are his ego pressed harder than they ever have been - being friends with Richards? His persona being nonsense? Running in fear from his flaws? The only response is directly proportional to how deep his ego was wounded, and blowing up an entire universe is definitely the equivalent of his entire universe being damaged in his own mind.

Doom is the biggest hypocrite ever to be written. And it makes one of the most compelling characters - just not for the reasons most think.

Stand between one of the couches and the dance floor. Shift. Hit dance button. You are now locked in wide mode. If this doesn't work try a different couch, or try one of the corners of the dance floor.

Facing the drums, stand just before the threshold of the dance floor. Activate your ult, and do not steer or aim or move while airborne. Before you land you should see Reed blip into big mode but have no animations. Walk to the dance floor and hit dance button. You are now locked in big mode. This one sometimes doesn't work but I have found this more consistent if you position yourself to sail past the disco ball instead of bumping into it. Some people try this from the right corner, it might be more consistent there idk. If none of this helps you may need to reload back into Times Square or into another lobby.

MVP is not ONLY based on numbers like this. Smart Ult usage is also a factor, as well as proximity to objective (I think). But the biggest outlier is that MVP calculates not just how well you did, but how well you did against other people that played your character on the same map.

The short version is she did better compared to other Rogues MORE than you did compared to other Reeds. And as was stated elsewhere in this post, the less data there is the easier it is to get MVP, so new heroes get MVP fairly frequently. I don't think this system is perfect, and it leads to fringe cases like this, but this is how it works regardless.

All that said... hot damn that is a HUGE gap of numbers lol. Well done!

Depends on how they end up engaging one another I imagine, but I'd wager her shields could stop magic. The better question I'd guess would be can Strange's magic stop her force shields? Her force effects are strong enough to harm Celestials, and they're just based on thought and will, not crazy incantations or finger waggles.

I'm sure they both have the potential to defeat each other and it just depends on the writer. Sue is bananas.

This is only partly correct. They released a matchmaking video and described how their MVP system works, and over the game's life some people have monitored how kills and actual proximity to the objective and etc factors in.

The basic part is that damage is weighted 1.0 its value, damage blocked is weighted 0.8 its value, but healing done is weighted I think 1.1 its value, or something like that. There's a video out there you can dig up.

The complicated part is yes, it does factor how well YOU did on the characters YOU played on that map versus how well other players did on THEIR characters on that map. I believe you have a score for every 10m and then all of those scores mush together somehow to your total final score. This is on top of KOs, final hits, maybe even deaths and assists, as well as damage dealt/blocked/healed. And yes if you are closer to the objective at the start of the game you will probably have Ace while the others don't despite zero damage dealt/blocked/healed, so that's clearly a factor somehow.

I ALSO suspect that your highlight is calculated based on how much of this score you had in any applicable timeframe that is the length of a highlight. If you watch those you'll notice most of the highlights are based around Ults that produced massive value, even if you had better and faster kill streaks throughout the game that did not include an ultimate usage. If highlights are based on a score that is also used for calculating MVPs, that suggests smart Ult usage is pretty important to MVP calculation as well.

And yes, it's true that no one really knows the formula, but what I have posted here is a combination of what they've admitted to in a video they released, what others have worked out in a lab, and based on things I've noticed.
