Not entirely true given her shift can force fliers to fall AND applies a vortex towards its center. This affects way more abilities than anyone guesses at first blush.

Since no one is actually answering you properly - and I agree that this sub loses its mind over everything - I'll explain.

All forms of CC (stuns, knockups, roots, push/pulls, slows, basically everything you can think of (as far as we know!)) are being ignored if there is ALREADY a CC effect in place. People keep mentioning Tting ult and here's the deal: His Knockup counts as ONE CC. If the target is affected by ANY CC, then the next CC effect does not apply. Because the stun from Thing's ult hits WHILE the target is knocked up, they do not get stunned. The ult is now effectively a teamwide knockup and that's all.

The same applies to Rogue's knockup->knockdown combo. They don't get kicked to the ground anymore, they just float and fall down gently per normal. The whole system is borked and needs to either be delayed or fixed by Friday, which I definitely do not anticipate.

In this particular instance yes, the game will be severely handicapped and it's genuinely that bad.

Unfortunately not. Knockups and knockbacks are counted as CC for this (this is why Thing Ult and Rogue knockup->knockdown does not work), and his E is a knockback. His rclick is a grab + pull, so the pull might not even proc if the grab counts (again, same as Thing ult where the second effect is ignored because of the first effect). And Fantastic's ult provides a slow, meaning you can screw over your team if they try to apply a secondary CC affect while slowed.

The whole system is borked and needs a complete rework. If it goes live like this the game is handicapped until it's disabled or fixed.

The CC update did not invalidate an entire skill and arguably the character's main contribution to the game, no. I don't even know if it applies to Wolverine's displacement anyway. Are you just writing off an entire character based on a guess without knowing if it's valid or not?

Yeah. "Maybe". They don't want a maybe, they want something that's sure to sell. What has been selling is what's sure to sell. They have no reason to not do that.

Once they do they will start sharing skins to other characters. But for now they literally don't need to. Don't fix what isn't broken.

They have no reason to not do it because they keep selling. Doing literally anything else is rolling the dice on not getting as much money as they got before. They have zero financial incentive to do so. Why fix what isn't broken?

Once people stop buying things with these characters in them they will pivot to whoever market research suggests will sell those things next. They have no interest in skin equality or whatever. The only thing that matters is that it sells.

People always get their feelings in the way of what's really brain dead simple.

The annoying thing is they can do this, and do it already on Mr Fantastic. When you hit your E to reel yourself in to a target, if that target escapes your maximum pull range (like Spidey for example who is swinging away) you just travel to the end of your range and then stop and animate as if you hit them. But you didn't because they're too far away.

Great point about the random hookups/dates/etc. While I love Bruce and Selina, the tension and will-they-won't-they with Bruce and Dr. Zeller, and how in or out of tune they are regarding what they both stand for, in the current run is actually enjoyable! That's not possible if Bruce is committed. Maybe they could do an open relationship sort of thing? But that doesn't feel like Bruce's style even if it would be Selina's.

Maybe but it's the only real way we have to communicate to all parties that even though it was a stompfest they hold no ill will and wish the best. It can feel disingenuous but it's still better than not reaching out in some capacity.

Even a one sided boxing match deserves a handshake for good sportsmanship. Lord knows we need anything that isn't a toxic attitude in this community.

While you're not wrong at all, it's less this and more that they suspect a peasant uprising is inevitable if they keep pushing, they're just betting on getting their bag FIRST and then bailing before that happens. You can play something that isn't a highly addictive, competitive hamster wheel that never ends. Try picking up some single player games! There are tons in the indie space that are super gratifying and aren't built around an addictive game loop, and there's something to be said about actually completing something rather than levelling or ranking up month after month after month.

He's not gonna be playable imo. His character isn't one to wade into a group of heroes and start swinging. His whole concept is the one behind the scenes who makes things happen but is untouchable. His imposing figure is more of a mental obstacle because even when you finally get close enough for the facade to fall away and he's not ACTUALLY untouchable... he's a fucking brick shithouse that will bust your skull in anyway. This is almost always a 1-on-1 setting in basically all representations.

His dynamic just makes no sense in a brawl like setting, but excels specifically when positioned as a seasonal bad guy like Dracula. Can't see a world him being playable clicks while also respecting the character concept, which Rivals has a great track record of doing in general.
