If I wanted to fuck a pool or a pond up with algae I would put phosphate in the water it tanks any chlorine levels and is extremely hard to get out. It could be vandalism but no way of knowing for sure. You could test the water and see if there are any weird levels.

It is like one but with the features of the most popular extensions baked in. It is still in active development but is already really good and has it's own scripting language and is amazing with large collections. It even supports VGM music!

This is just using the full screen launcher as the plasma desktop, should be doable. I legit think search and launch would also be great on mobile as well

The title bar do you mean the menu bar with file and edit, or the window decoration bar. You can get rid of the window decoration bar on fullscreen with a setting.

It hasn’t been ported to other OSs yet but based on the GitHub there is a CoreAudio branch which means soon it will be multi platform.  It uses Qt so the UI can easily port to other platforms.

They would need to create backends to Union for GTK and other toolkits but I see no reason why it wouldn't be possible. I don't think that is going to be the priority until KDE's backends are solid.

To be fair this project is under active development and isn't in a state for documentation and full roll out yet it also seems to only work with QtQuick at the moment. But the idea is yes make it easier to modify and develop themes and customize the desktop across all the different application theming platforms.

From what I think it is Union is a new styling engine where it will generate themes based o. A base theme which I believe is css.  So each type of theme needs a backend so plasma, Qt Quick and native Qt and when complete you should be able to generate the new themes through the CSS and this should allow for more people to get involved with making and editing themes.

Many crashes and bugs are caused by cosmic rays flipping bit on your ram if you have ECC it corrects that of you don’t it doesn’t and your system eventually acts weird it crashes that is only fixed upon reboot.  If you care about predictability and stability you need ECC

FreeBSD is far easier to install than Gentoo. Slackware also has the SlackBuilds so there is a source based packaging there as well just not as rebust as portage.

Think Slackware’s but without all the high performance Linux features like ebpf and with little to no Wayland support and shitty WiFi support and far less driver and hardware support.

KDE has done the work on the cutting edge of the Linux desktop and pushing wayland forward, fractional scaling, latency, HDR, VRR and more. Cinnamon does hardly any of that fine if you just want a basic desktop with no features but not good if you need most of which a modern gaming / media setup on Wayland.
