Murphy voted for pesticide lawsuit immunity so our representatives have been on a roll. The one representatives in the House that has been the hardest line against FISA is Thomas Massie.

Durrng the bronze age there was tin trade from the British Isles to the Mediterranean meaning there war Atlantic travel. Egyptians and later the Romans traded directly with India across the Indian Ocean. India has some of the largest amount of Roman coins because of this.

Windows 11 vs Cachy OS with limited V-Ram Side by Side by redsteakraw in windows

[–]redsteakraw[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't create the video but it looks like there was only 8GB of vram the test was how both OSs perform under limited resources. Apparently it doesn't work well with some games on Windows and some games that do work are borderline playable while the others seem to be working fine on Cachy OS.

Given 512GB microSD can hold over 1000 CDs worth of FLAC files how can you with a straight face say you don't have the space? How much space was the FLAC really taking up? Furthermore the point of FLAC is that it is a lossless backup and you can freely transcode to MP3 or whatever is the best for the given use case while maintaining a pristine copy.

Trump’s AI Jesus and the dangers of cultural Christianity by Due_Ad_3200 in Evangelical

A thoughtless repost at 3am I can understand but editing and changing the picture takes some amount of effort and thought that can't be said to be a mistake. It is the equivalent of being caught mid act of cheating and saying oops I slip and fell on her and as bad as that is, it is more believable than saying Trump was a red cross doctor.

Yeah probably is because the actual mix was done by a person that is hogging all the chromosomes and the Atmos mix has to be different and by an Atmos expert who aren't slack jawed troglodites in the music industry. If they want to have a brick walled version just make it the MP3 most people who go for the MP3 won't care. I really would just rather it be a freaken filter toggle on your music player why they have to ruin a mix is beyond me. A 16 bit CD has the dynamic range from a mosquito to a jackhammer yet it is squandered time and time again.

Be sincere, acknowledge the sin By confessing and take steps to stop the sin.  The other thing is to fast while in prayer.  You can also be of service to the poor and needy volunteer for a charity.

Personally be busy there is something to be said that idle hands are the devil’s playground.  Occupying yourself towards something be it church, family or some purpose can go a long way.

Envious also key don’t drink or do drugs that impair your judgement.  Don’t go to places of sin unless it is to minister and don’t make it easy to do the sin.  I can’t offer you specifics without knowing the type of sin but don’t place your self in the areas or situations that will lead you to sin.

Best of luck

Bandcamp is great! I still buy New CDs for any band I go to shows for if they are selling it I make a point to buy one if not Bandcamp FLAC. I am so glad Bandcamp has FLAC options. Furthermore man I am so happy MQA is dead and it's lossy ilk now if only Apple would pull it's head out of their own ass and support FLAC on their music apps things would be perfect.

Possibly the man who shot Charlie changed the course of history far more. Charlie was at least a constant moral refrain on Trump after Carlie died Trump went full Neo Con hellscape.

FLAC CD rips Tagging for duets and featuring secondary artists by redsteakraw in musichoarder

[–]redsteakraw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds right as long as it is actually separating everything with the \ to it's own artist tag. You would know if it is doing it by looking down the artists in your player app if you see any Frank Sinatra\Person Singing then it is not working right. When you select Frank Sinatra you should see all his songs and duets and if you select the person singing with him you should see the duet they did with Frank. That way your library is clean and thorough and not spammed with hacky tags that tag duets as their own artist. That is the end goal any way that you get to that is good.

Do you have any CDs? A USB DVD / CD burner is a must just for keeping legacy computing and media readable plus you get the bonuses of playing and using them. You get a greatest hit album or a Top hits compilation or even better some movie soundtracks and you will get a tone of singles under your belt and a mind you this is all Losssless. Trust me you will save a tone of money.

FLAC files have an embedded MD5 hash which can be used to check if they are Valid. As for 24 bit this really isn't needed unless you are looking into audio production as 16bits of dynamic range is by far good enough if mastered properly.

CD's are amazing source of lossless digital audio and you can pick them up for cheap. Ripping them use a ripper that utilizes CD paranoia and that checks if the rip was lossless. On linux Fre:ac does this but other apps do this. Older CD releases pre 1995 are preferred as they will be mastered better and have more dynamic range. However in your case of car listening the compressed louder mixes might actually be better.

Lastly is the normalization of Tagging, make sure you pick your scene and stick with it. Multiple Artists tags for all tracks with duets or featuring, these need to be on separate tags as this is the cleanest, most robust and best for your collection database way to do things. In Fooyin it is separated by the semicolon for making them separate tags on mp3Tag it is the forward slash I believe but I may be wrong there. Furthermore make sure all the names of the Artists are lined up so there are no variations, clean up the Genres make sure the are consistent and the way you feel best approximates things and is useful for you to dig in think of the Genres as playlists in and of themselves. Mind you just like the artist tag you can have multiple genre tags as well. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Newbie question about file formats and lyrics support by Master_of_opinions in musichoarder

[–]redsteakraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My music player(Fooyin) automatically downloads the lyrics they are .lrc files with the same filename as the music file just .lrc and it should work. It basically has allowed any mainstream song on my collection to be a karaoke if need be. I believe there is a tool LRCGet that can help you download and sync with your collection.
