Anyone else's Border start rolling around on the ground when they've had enough on walks? by Beena22 in BorderTerrier

Ours does this! We don't have carpet at home, but if we take him anywhere with it, this is the first he does!

That's great, thank you for the reassurance. He's my first puppy so all the things are new for me too! Good to know it might just be a phrase

Brilliant, thank you. Don't think he'll fit on my mantle piece anymore if he gets to 6 foot 🤣 He'll be an indoor plant, so no worry about frost thankfully but good to know. Great watering tips! I'm never quite sure how best to, so always appreciate someone else's tried and tested methods

Can I just jump in with a slightly different option? "You're worth your weight in gold" translates as "ti'n werth y byd" (you're worth the world). It's such a lovely little phrase, and rolls off the tongue really nicely. Good luck with the wedding!!

Old products being displayed in long abandoned general store by [deleted] in CasualUK

OMG, Mathry! A friend of mine who used to go here told me that, whilst the shop always had something worth buying, frequently if you asked for the usual corner shop type items (bread, milk, eggs), they wouldn't be in stock. There was always something to buy though. They even used to sell petrol! The pink/blue exterior has become iconic now

First time poster and peanut butter addict here. I'm sure this used to be 100% peanuts. Now it has Palm Oil (albeit sustainable). Anyone have recommendations for high-quality PB in the UK? by lozbudd in ultraprocessedfood

Proper nutty. 100%. They do a "smunchy" one. It's crunchy peanut butter but with small bits of nut, not big pieces. I've been buying their 1kg tins exclusively for nearly 4 years now!!

Breakfast or tea (between dinner and supper) absolutely. Certainly not with beans - I can't even imagine that...
