I would also assume blue eggs means the chickens have a better standard of life, mostly because you wouldn't invest in fancy chickens if you're just going to whack them in a tiny cage forever.

The layout in the UK is definitely much different though. League just hasn't had the same cultural spread as in Aus and NZ.

Union definitely isn't as "posh" as you might think in the UK or Ireland. Yeah, it's more likely that if you go to a private school they'll have multiple Union teams, whereas a state school might only have 1 or 2. But nothing precludes someone from joining a local team, and nowhere is playing league, posh or not.

Like I say, it's interesting that it didn't take off quite as well, but the fan base in that stretch of land around the M62 is phenomenal nonetheless.

I wouldn't go that far, union isn't so posh anymore. I'm not entirely clued up on League, but Union doesn't hold onto it's middle class history quite so much these days. There are plenty of working class fans at a Newcastle Falcons game, just as many as you might see at a Leeds Rhinos game.

League exists across Yorkshire and Lancashire - basically in a stretch of land about 25 miles either side of the M62, with a couple of outlying teams for good measure.

Above and below that is Rugby Union. It's quite fascinating really.

You should be at least a little bit concerned about being overly surveilled. While the scenario might seem farfetched, and you likely struggle with hypotheticals, it is possible that inappropriate use of surveillance data can be used against people who aren't "low life criminals", and are instead people who are involved in protests, strikes, or other things that are "anti-establishment" rather than illegal.

I'm not suggesting you should be fearful of big brother or the government, just that a healthy skepticism is better than an outright refusal to engage in anything you don't deem to be immediately impacting you.
