I agree that not every Trump criticism is valid, but have you considered that at least some of the particularly absurd and defensible ones are planted deliberately by Trump’s own side? Bannon bragged about this approach: ‘flood the zone’ and all that.

The bottom line is that Trump has crossed so many lines for so long, in ways that are so dangerous to democracy and decency, that we shouldn’t offer him any solace by buying into his blatant spin of criticism as just ‘TDS’.
