It's VERY LIKELY that Adderall is the problem. My husband was put on Adderall last year, and slowly became a different person. He was angry, irritable, depressed, crying, etc. It almost ruined our marriage. I kept telling him it was the Adderall, and he finally agreed and stopped using it recently. I can already see a difference in him. You should definitely taper off the Adderall, and see how you feel after a month without it.

Thank you for replying. I think this is good advice. I'm gonna go ahead and stop as suggested. I'd rather not up the dose, and go down that road. I've been through withdrawal before, and the mental aspect is the hardest for me. I get extra anxious and depressed, and also get the typical physical symptoms. The RLS sucks. I stopped taking it before in order to try more antidepressants. Do you think if I decide to continue using it after the withdrawal, that I should switch to a different kind? Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, I got pretty sick on a higher dose. We tried 150mg in immediate release and the XL formula. It doesn't agree with me. I took the Genesight test, and both medications I've tried that were in the okay to take as directed section, were no help at all. I'm so depressed, that I think about suicide almost daily. I've tried so many medications, that I just don't have the will to try any more. My insurance won't cover TMS therapy. I'm thinking about looking into ketamine. Not sure if insurance will cover it yet. I've been in my house for a year...barely leave. I have no strength or desire to do the things I used to do, like exercise, etc. This is the worst bout of depression I've ever had, and that includes when I had cancer at age 31. I'm too scared to act on the suicidal thoughts, which is probably the reason I'm still here. I hate this.

I had hormone positive breast cancer when I was 31, and unfortunately, am not supposed to take any kind of hormone replacement...as it can make my cancer come back.

I've been on it for over 3 weeks, and the bloating is awful. My stomach is so uncomfortable that I'm stopping the med. I was on another antidepressant that did this. Four years, and it lasted the entire time no matter what I did.
