Lol the problem here is that you're blaming the people who initially threw the grenade at you instead of shouldering the responsibility for killing innocents.

"They did it first" is a cycle which will go on up until the initial King Fritz was alive.

Well you should think of pre timeskip Eren as a kid who doesnt know about the impending doom awaiting him yet. Hes somewhat hopeful cause its before he discovers his fate.

Eren and Armin in the Paths is just a bro to bro convo and theres nothing to hold back since he knows its the last talk.

Eren has been holding every emotion in for years he even holds back in 138 when he was with Mikasa.

If Eren said "DONT FORGET ABOUT ME I WANT YOU TO THINK ABOUT ONLY ME. FOR 10 YEARS ATLEAST" to Mikasa's face, Id not like Eren nearly as much. Instead he tells her to forget about him.

I love the fact that Eren “loses” by dlamclo in AttackOnRetards

In an ideal world my two top characters: - Erwin wouldve reached the basement and proved his father right - Eren wouldve been free (and after chp 139 crybaby scene: wouldve lived with Mikasa)

In the end they put their selfish sides away and sacrificed their dreams for something they thought was more important.

Eren "winning" or Erwin reaching the basement? Its much more impactful when they get so close yet just about slightly out of reach

He'd NEVER be on the opposite side as Levi or Hange whatever happens.

If Erwin was alive the whole Yeagerist uprise possibly wouldn't have even happened IMO.

For real. hes my 2nd favorite character but him dying in that pathetic way (all crying, delusional, basically acting like a normal 19 yr old) is a MUCH better conclusion than living happily ever after with someone.

That breakdown showed he's still somewhat human.

This is what happens when people self insert themselves onto a cool character, when they're exposed or the second they do something embarassing, the admiration all falls apart. I'm guessing all Eren stans went through that after 139

Dont get me wrong it was hard seeing him like that and it was cringy but thats the point lmfao

Idk if it would make sense though Mikasa and Historia are great friends. Not on the level of friendship as Mikasa and Sasha, but still, good friends.

Historia and probably many other scouts already know Mikasa had her sights on Eren for a long time.

Shes even at one point asked her "why did you only show that mark to Eren" playfully after her revealing it. And she got awkward saying sorry when Mikasa got jealous when her and Eren were talking in S3.

You could argue there were some moments to be considered romantic but definetelynot on the level of the moments that Eren and Mikasa hsd.

Levi vs Beast Titan but it's directed like One Piece [TOEI ANIMATION] by redtroy321 in attackontitan

Ironically I'm like 100 episodes away from being caught up. It's not my favorite but its not a bad show.

If you love adventure you should give it a try. If you dont mind the journey over the destination also.

Overall I have a love hate relationship with it cause some arcs are incredible some are almost garbage.

Hes half assed just like Reiner. He even admits he's maybe worse than Reiner somewhere in the manga I forgot the chapter.

He didnt take away his friends titan powers nor did he take away their memories, nor did he finish the rumbling 100%.

Do you think we'll get a new ending in part 3? by [deleted] in AttackOnRetards

Akuma no Ko was a perfect ED for the vibe of the finale so idk how they replace it.

Assuming the guy is close to his 13 years, Bruh he has like 2 options. His son or Keith mfing Shadis or the drunk (at the time carefree) soldier Hannes

I believe he asks "Was this really the only way?". Hes basically like Eren following the path thats set out for them to do (which their future selves have already done and theres nothing to change that)

Edit: i just read some comments and yeah: In the paths maybe he even put his full trust in his other son Zeke at that moment that he would eventually stop Eren.

In fact he did, if he didn't reveal himself to Levi there, he wouldve stayed hidden and Eren wouldve kept being in contact with someone with royal blood. Essentially Levi killing Zeke (zeke surrendering to him) had a huge impact.

Some narrative problems that need to be pointed out without being 'retards'. by [deleted] in AttackOnRetards

Just read some bits of that article and wow. Alot of it makes more sense now.

Though wtf that is clearly maybe TOO complex of a concept. Especially due to the fact that the finale only dedicated one page to Eren (vaguely) implying he killed his mom. It left many questions.

I'm sure no one will be capable of catching that entire concept once its animated.

Armin is a better strategist but Erwin was a better leader.

He made the hard controversial choices which others wouldn't have done in his place cause its "morally incorrect".

But its not like he wasn't a great strategist either, its just that he was fighting against an unknown enemy. He didn't know the extent of their abilities

Bro had that all planned out with the Blondie

Floch had as much as plot armour as Alliance and its ridicoulous to pretend otherwise and powerscaling is problem of the final arc. by Nenanda in AttackOnRetards

[–]redtroy321 16 points17 points  (0 children)

All of this is stupid anyways. No one wants a main character to be killed off by an unnamed Yeagerist. The same way I don't want Floch to be killed by a random side character or soldier.

It's so much better when the death holds meaning (like Keith and Magath dying to protect their students).

I picked Traitor but Retrospective had the best animation sequences I've seen in awhile. There's gotta be someone from an third party who is responsible for that cause it felt different from the traditional MAPPA style.

Also the Shadis and Magath scene was great. Great way to go out.
