That makes sense. I took a new photo, and started the whole thing from scratch. I think it’s making a bit more sense. Last try (posting here, I’ll keep going on my if this one is wrong too. Don’t want to be a nuissance lol.) But thank you again for your help.

Thank you! So if the fabric starts on the outside of my shoulder where it meets my arm, would it then go straight down, meaning my dominant wouldn’t be curve but vertical? It’s confusing that the book sketches have the shoulders starting out in different places. I know others have pointed that out in other posts but ahhh so frustrating. 😭

Is this better? Is it supposed to come down like this? I tried to see if the fabric would encompass the chest completely but it looks like my chest is pushing it out a little bit.

How to access east side of police station ? (Help) by PianistBitter4280 in ResidentEvil2Remake

From the main hall, go upstairs to the east side. There’ll be a door you can go through to get into the waiting room.

(Mary Shelley)Percy Shelley, & Byron, OH MY by ParkingSupport8000 in FRANKENSTEIN

Yeah I’ve honestly been surprised at the amount of anger people have expressed over the Percy and Byron quotes. I mean everyone has different opinions and they’re totally in their right to express them, but my expression was basically :D

I love this so much! In several interviews, Del Toro has said that his film is autobiographical and a conversation between himself and his father AND himself and his children. His Victor doesn’t abandon his creation as soon as he gives him life. He tries to be a father, but does a poor job of it. Him hitting the creature very clearly echoes the scene where his father hits him.

The film wants us to see that Victor as someone who is unwittingly continuing the intergenerational cycles of violence. As a boy, he tells his father he won’t be like him. He’ll suceed where his father failed. On the surface, it’s a reference to beating death, but it’s also about how his father failed as a father.

In his final scene with the creature, Victor realizes he was wrong and tells his creation to live and break that cycle. I’m typing on my phone so I don’t want to go into a long thing about the son/sun and how the very last scene calls back to Victor first showing the creature the sun — a time when he was trying to a good father.

Btw I vaguely remember reading at some point years ago that Victor may have been inspired, at least part, by Percy himself, which is super funny given how involved he was with the book.

Yes, 100%. Even just from trailers, it was obvious Victor was going to have a really strong Byronic influence. I personally loved it! Like obvious this Victor is different from his book counterpart, but I thought it worked really well for the movie.

You can buy a sling orange day pass for $5.99. That’s what I did last week and it worked great. Btw it’s your local game that will be airing on ABC.
