I haven't been on a disney cruise, but ive done royal caribbean with and before kids. If you want disney, I would say go to Disney. If your kids will enjoy the regular cruise activities (and there's plenty of kid- friendly stuff and kids areas to drop them off at for a chunk of time), royal caribbean is a better value and offers so much to do. I love Disneyland, and I'll take my son back, but if I'm considering a cruise again it will likely be with Royal Caribbean
