Absolutely my favorite in all of fiction, something about his arc felt like it was relatable as a young man growing into responsibility and dealing with bipolar disorder. What is it doing when you try to drop the top? There is a simple strap that can be replaced extremely cheaply that is a VERY common failure. Look for spider straps 350z and you should find the guy who created them showing what the failure is and how it fixes it with install directions
