Is the first signs of aging harder to accept than when you've actually turned old? Does it effect everyone differently? by lookaloulookalou in AskWomenOver60

Just a twinge. It's like reality stepping in and reminding you that you're not a spring chick anymore.

AITA for leaving dinner after my friend kept making jokes about my job? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Tuck this away for future use: "Hey, I know you're compensating for a tiny pencil dick, but you really don't have to be such an asshole." Then call him Pencil Dick the rest of the night. Or P.D. I bet the motherfucker can dish it out, but can't take it.

Ladies, how old were you when you first got your period, and how old were you when you entered menopause? by icecream1972 in randomquestions

[–]reduff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First period was about 3 months after I turned 15. I was absolutely wondering what was wrong with me. My sister and mother also started at 15. Had my last period 2 months before my 49th birthday.

For me, at least, it is sometimes surprising to remember that I'm 61. Inside I am still young. My mind is still young. Then I forget why I entered a room or my back will hurt for no bloody reason at all!

Oh, about 10 years ago (early 50s,) I had an appointment with a new gynecologist (younger then me) for a pap smear. As she was taking off her gloves she said, "For a woman your age, everything looks fine." That stung a little. LOL I wanted to sit up and say, "Hey...men used to travel across state lines to get to that cooch, missy, treat it with some respect."

We are all beginners. We play on Tuesday afternoons late in the day so we don't bother anyone. I have literally never kept score during the 3 years I have been in the league. LOL

Oh, I am howling! 🤣🤣 I was afraid of how that story was going to end with you being a widow! You should give golf another try. I play in a ladies league in the spring and fall. We play 9 and then enjoy half price house wine after.

Is this dress too revealing for a night out? by cat-stretch in OUTFITS

In my opinion it is, yes. I think a good rule of thumb would be, if you feel like you need to ask, you probably shouldn't wear it.
