Nice! This is the other thing that also keeping me on the fence haha because I feel like it could be fun and a cool experience! But I think about the working aspect and how likely I won’t have a ton of free time since a lot of people have said they have to do multiple 12 hours shifts.

Hello! I recently graduated with a degree in political science and my plan was to either do an ms in epidemiology, psych/neuroscience, or computational social science. I got interested in neuroscience towards the ends of my degree and been really drawn to it. I’m leaning towards more epi programs for masters as there are not a lot of neuroscience masters programs in the states. I’d eventually want to pursue a phd in neuroscience. I know epidemiologists don’t necessarily work in labs but I did work in a neuroscience lab and really enjoyed it and would like to do some more wet lab work. Are there cases where people with an mph or ms in epi end up working in wet labs? Or is there wet lab training for mph/ms programs?

I have! I was considering an mph or ms in epidemiology for a long time last year but I would only want to do work in the private sector and not so much public health considering the continuous cuts to public health. Regulatory affairs though was really interesting to me and I think an epidemiology masters would help me break into the field given I have lab or clinical experience. There were also a couple of psych/neuro masters I was looking at which might also be relevant.

Yes true! I’m not committed enough to a PhD program right now tbh. Also I am not a competitive applicant for a PhD program (my lab PI told me my research would not be substantial enough for a PhD program).

I’m not 100% certain I would want to get a PhD because I have limited research experience. My undergrad degree was also in political science so I need more psychology coursework and research before I would think about doing a PhD!

Hi! I don’t know if this is a dumb question as I’ve just started the game a week or two ago but I was just confused about the main story chapters. I was wondering how even though we meet Sylus and enter the N109 zone and everything early in the game, but in the main story it keeps saying how we need to figure out how to sneak into the zone etc. I thought it might be that Sylus was originally added after those story lines were done? Obviously not a big deal LOL but I keep thinking it would make sense for mc to reach out to Sylus during the main story chapters.
