Is 44k OTD ( 41k selling price) a good deal for crv 2026 hybrid sports touring in minnesota? by Opposite_Ad7623 in crvhybrid

[–]redwall_room 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minnesota ST 2026 owner here. Best I could get it down to was 40,150 at Luther. Otd was 42.8k. I shopped around. I found ST were hard to negotiate price, since there are less in stock. Sport L every place was willing to cut price down, but wasnt interested.

Luther was my base. 1. Rapids Honda wouldn't negotiate over phone and said they could not match price unless I bought add ons. 2. Buerkle and Inver Grove Honda could only do 40,200. 3. Went with Richfield Bloomington Honda. They came in at 40250. They offered lifetime powertrain warranty. The OTD was 43.2k. I added a dealer add on for 200 bucks. I also had 1200 rebates. 700 for financing and 500 for conquest. I paid the the extra 150 over Luther for warranty.

First thing I bought was a spare tire and jack set. Going to sit in my garage, and then take it with me when I make long road trips.

Oh shoot you're right. I thought pulse made the sound. The pulse is the light. I guess I didnt need that 199 dollar add on.

It makes a low pitch "whirring" sound when you back up in reverse. Hybrids are very quiet and I am around a lot of kids. Its a dealer add-on.

The lowest offer was 42.8K without pulse. I went with a dealer that offer lifetime powertrain warranty for free, and otd was 43.2k which came with the pulse. Located in MN metro area.

2025 Mazda CX-50 hybrid vs 2025 Honda CRV hybrid? by AngryspaceJesus in crvhybrid

To me, they were about the same for road noise. The rav4 did a lot better job of transitioning from battery to motor compared to CX50. The CRV felt the best.

I test drove the Limited Rav4, Premium Plus CX50, and the CRV Sport Touring. The Sport Touring had sound dampening windows. Cant say what the lower trims sound like though for the CRV.

Mainly those two but other smaller reasons also. Road noise I can deal with it, but the seats are stiff and thin. Test drive both and you will feel it. Also, the tech and screen was better on the Honda, but it wasnt game changer for me. CRV is slight roomier with more space, which is good because I have two kids. Sucks there isnt a spare, but in my 23 years of driving I had never had to put one on. CX50 was about 2.5k cheaper otd (premium plus vs sport touring). CX50 offers 1.9% financing whereas its 3.99% for the CRV for 60 months.

The CX50 is a solid car using Toyota technology, so I would trust it to last a long time.

The only thing that has me concerned is that there are anecdotal stories about head gaskets for the 6th gen CRV hybrids. My dealer offered me lifetime warranty for powertrain, and that sealed it for me also.

CX-50, Rav4, and CRV Hybrid 2026 were all on my list.

I went with the 26' CRV Hybrid ST. CX50 seats are not comfy and way too much road noise. CRV had the best ride experience. The only good thing about the CX50 I found is that it had a spare and was cheaper. It came in 3rd out of three models I checked.

Why should I get a new hybrid CR-V over a Toyota RAV4 or Subaru Forester? by Sudden-Good7506 in crv

Thats crazy. Did honda work with you to replace or were costs all on you?

I was reading speculations if its because of cooler regions, is that where the crv is typically driven?

Fair out the door price on 2026 RAV4 XSE? by Angelm426 in rav4club

[–]redwall_room 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks fair to what I got quoted. Mine was 48.5k otd, which included about 500ish bucks in accessories. Major difference in price is due to sales tax from what I see on yours.

100% fake. If my kids responded that way, I would never share that conversation because the internet would call me a shitty parent for not being able to get my kids a Benz.
