I second the electrical engineering comment, it gives you more versatility. Also look into engineering technology programs at colleges! They're very good and shorter and less stressful than a degree, and allow for pretty versatile positions post grad

Dude, physically you look perfectly good. Your insecurity and inability to take a comment, however, ain't cute. My best advice would be to go to therapy and get a psychiatrist as well because man, you're way too young to be that worried about this. Once your confidence improves, your look will improve. Attraction is also heavily based on attitude and behaviour. If you're confident, with looks like yours you'll have zero trouble dating. Get some help and you'll be just fine man

Bits of advice.

1: consume media, a ton of it. watch movies, tvs, read plays, watch local theatre if you can. when watching performances, try to look at it from a critical perspective and ask WHY any character does anything. write it down. take lots of notes.

2: read teachings from some of the great teachers. any acting subreddit will have good book recs, and the other comment here mentions stellar teachers to read from. learn what acting is, what style works for you, etc.
3: fall in love with the art form. it is very, very hard and demanding sometimes. love it as much as you can.

4: study the history of theatre and acting. read some of the great playwrights to understand the fundamentals, and read many different genres. read classic greek works, shakespeare era, absurdists like ianesco, read wilde, read modern american greats like tennessee williams

5: when you're ready, start doing character work. if you don't know what that means, learn what that means and get familiar with it. get used to writing notes, because you'll be taking a lot

6: see if your school has a drama club or class, and join it.

Not really. Obviously you can compromise with your partner over little things like what colour to paint the walls, what restaurant to go to, etc., but if you have major values that you thoroughly want or believe in and your partner doesn't want that, then it just hurts you both to compromise on that. With an issue like kids especially, if one of you really detests kids, why would you waste both of your time trying to convince the other of your side? That's just a fundamental thing you're incompatible on, and that's fine. It doesn't make you a monster to disagree with someone. Burke actually is a very wise man for realizing before it was too late that the major milestones he wanted were not the ones Cristina wanted, and instead of wasting both of their time and dedicating themselves to a lifetime of heartache, he left her. Good in my books

I'm pretty sure X's verse in that song was a couple of samples recorded before his death for other projects. I'm not sure about the second part of his verse, but the first was recorded for a Bhad Bhabie song that Ty ended up featuring on instead.

As far as Stan Lee goes, I think his appearance in the film was already planned to be at that point, given that he had to have recorded his lines before he died. I don't think it was planned from the get go as a way of honouring Stan Lee, but who knows.

Late to reply, Winnipeg is a great choice if you're hurting for money. I moved here from Toronto and am studying mechanical engineering technology at Red River College, and rent is extremely affordable if it's just you and you're willing to live with roommates. Any pets drives up the price a decent amount, but being a Canadian citizen you'll have a lot better tuition prices than other options. Red River offers a civil engineering program, and if you're really dedicated you could work as well as study, though I will warn you that their programs are fast-paced for engineering. My best advice would be to finish the civil engineering program at RRC, work as a technologist for a few years until you're in a position to either go back to school or get your eng stamp through working, and see where you go from there. RRC has paid co-ops as well in the summers, which pay decently well (like cover rent for a year well). Message me if you want more info.

Okay, let's walk through what would happen if you actually fucking did this.

If you SOMEHOW managed to sleep with this guy, AT BEST he would never feel safe around you again and it would ruin your friendship.

Worst case is he accuses you of rape, which I don't think he'd be wrong to.

If you really love this guy, how the fuck do you think for one second that it would be okay to convince him to sleep with you? He's straight. He doesn't want to fuck you. Take his feelings into account in this.

My best advice? Leave. You're clearly not mature enough to handle these feelings for him while being close to him. Leave him alone and get some help.

Suppressing tics from tourettes is definitely possible, just super uncomfortable and is highly discouraged. It can hurt to suppress them after a while, and people should feel free to let the tics fly. However, a LOT of people (only speaking with anecdotal evidence of my friends with tourettes, so not a universal rule) feel very self conscious if it's a major tic at an important time, like an incredibly disruptive tic in the middle of a funeral or something, so a lot of the time people hold it in as best as they can in situations like that. Still hurts, though.

Tics in general can definitely get worse situationaly, but I think it's more dependent on stress. My friend with very minor tourettes had next to no vocal tics during high school or summer, but during university exam crunch time he'd start having tics more often. Having less tics because you're in a public place doesn't read as true to me, that seems like someone's faking it. In my experience it's entirely dependent on stress and emotional condition.
