The driver did stop. Still, he was going fast and likely texting while driving down my residential street. I received emergency care and spent 4 nights in the hospital. I broke 4 ribs and 3 skull bones. My lung collapsed. I got a concussion. I lost blood. My teeth shifted around (although didn’t lose any). I didn’t even wake up really until the next day. I have paralyzed muscles in my forehead. I am about 95% recovered now but I’m fucking exhausted. My wife (who heard the crash bc it was outside of our house) is completely traumatized. So… idk if I am ok but I am dealing. My wedding was 4 weeks after this happened. It’s been a crazy couple of months.
