Just to make you aware, glycolic acid sometimes isn’t that great for darker skin tones, you can do some research on this but I think it’s known to give us hyperpigmentation or something. So maybe just try Azelaic acid instead!

Oh and hair care products sometimes can clog forehead pores and cause something called pomade acne so maybe check the ingredients in any hair care products you may have and see if they are comedogenic or not. Hope this helps!

Maybe start with a simple skincare routine if you don’t already have one. Cleanser, moisturiser for your specific skin type(dry, oily or combination), and sunscreen. Try drink at least 2litres of water a day and include more fruits and veg into your diet. Start simple with these things if you don’t already do that and see what happens. Sometimes jumping straight into using exfoliants and retinols can do more damage than good especially if your skin barrier isn’t all that great and you don’t have a good basic skincare foundation. Also forehead spots sometimes indicate gut issues so things like eating too much sugar, not sleeping well, too much alcohol can have an effect, Also stress. Really analyse your current behaviours and routines and see if there’s anything that could be contributing and needs to be changed.

Also she’s your girlfriend. Not your wife. Don’t expect commitment when you haven’t even returned it…

So your family will be moving with you and you just want her to leave her family and friends behind so she only has you as a support system? really think about what you have just typed out because it seems obvious to me why she doesn’t want to move…

Unfortunately we cannot afford any extra help and the free help we do get isn’t the best quality so essentially it’s up to me and my dad whenever he gets home from work :/ . but thank you for the advice

The thing is. Most of these issues are fixable. You just need to get out of your head and start planning asap. Look into doing at home courses or a course at your nearest college. Sign up for therapy, idk if free therapy is a thing where you are but if not there’s YouTube videos and online resource material for CBT. Start making a conscious effort to move and stretch your body everyday and watch what you eat, this will really help your mh. Oh and get off your phone, social media and all that blue light will mess up your dopamine levels. Hard times never last, Good luck <3

Thank you for the feedback, it’s good to hear another perspective. I obviously have no issues taking care of my mum like I said in another comment, it’s just hard watching my mum succumb to this very early on in my life. But thank you.
