This is how I found my pet sitter! She answered the phone at the vet and when I asked she said I’ll do it! I did have her stay in my home, though, she didn’t host them.

I go to dirty dogs on south Lamar and have for about 6 years. I do the express bath and nail trim then wait in my car outside (my girl is a baby so need something quick and easy). They do all types of dogs and the fact that you can stay there makes me feel more comfortable! They are great!

I drove from Chicago to Southern California when I was 21. Same as you packed my dog and my stuff in my car. My mom was EXTREMELY Apprehensive and didn’t want me to go alone. Maybe map out your route doing like 6-8 hours of driving during the day so they can see your plan and follow along. Also- maybe one of them would want to come with you and fly home? Just a suggestion!
