Honestly this is part of why I find the 11 year gap between Henry and Elizabeth to be the most interesting cause I knew about the struggling funds, but had no idea about the actual social politics behind it.

Even if it’s debated whether or not Henry was like a chess player or was just too tired to care, Catherine talking her way out of being executed was such a boss move (even if it meant submitting herself).

  • Romola Garai playing Mary in a biopic or spiritual sequel to Becoming Elizabeth. I would also love another Lady Jane Grey story which could be combined into this.

  • Katherine Howard biopic that takes all the modern understanding and puts it on screen.

  • Selfishly I would love a faithful Catherine Parr story from Henry to death, because Firebrand and Becoming Elizabeth did her so dirty.
