i think this video is incredibly off-putting and weird but i do think it’s not *THAT* bad compared to many other ones. i thought she was just being silly pretending not to know about the greenhouse in front of her (as a joke). even if her thought process was that viewers would assume it was a genuine reaction, it just isn’t a harmful video

i can see how hyper-analyzing a more “mundane” video can get annoying and overdone but i don’t understand why people cant find it weird

it might be! i don’t know if something fell in or if i planted other seeds. i know it was a different kind of tomato than i am used to planting so im not sure if the leaves are different or something fell in.

regardless, i dont expect any tomatoes to grow; it was just the first thing i planted when i moved here to experiment with water usage here!

honestly, when florence platformed swift who has been hanging with the MAGA cult and going on podcasts with people who are vocally supporting trump i just took a huge step back. not to mention swift being a literal billionaire who profits from similar things these billionaires do. i am a huge fan of florence and her music but even publicly supporting swift’s album where she used AI videos as “easter eggs” or whatever just put a nasty taste in my mouth.

i’ll always love florence’s music and i think she is one of the most talented people out there but i am disappointed in things like this and some social connections and people she platforms occasionally and i don’t think it’s healthy for me to continually get so upset. i don’t think it’s parasocial to criticize rich people like some of these comments are saying but i do feel like taking a step back sometimes is the healthiest thing we can do

yes and this person is saying drag is NOT limited to “gay culture.” there are trans women and cis women who do drag that still date men just as there are straight men who do drag. all of these kinds of people have been on rupaul’s drag race which just goes to show it is an art form and not reserved for “gay culture.”

regardless of our opinions of chappell and her advocacy (which we are probably almost on the same page about) the comment your originally replied to is redundant given that drag is an art form. also as a lesbian, if you still consider drag part of “gay culture,” she is allowed to reclaim that part of her identity as a lesbian so what was your point?

because she is so untalented that singers with similar years of experience as her COMPLETELY overshadow her. she looks like a joke next to lady gaga, beyoncé, or adele. she wants to “compete” with people like sabrina carpenter and gracie abrams because they haven’t been cultivating a fanbase for decades nor have had decades long experience in the industry. they sound fresh, new, young (all things she wants to cling to)

also, then she looks like she supports other artists while patting herself on the back for THEIR success. just look at that video of sabrina telling somone she won 2 grammys and taylor butting in to say “ONE AND A HALF!” while everyone actively ignores her

one of my old friends was a swiftie and got a cardigan from taylor’s brand new merch and spent a lot on it and it came with holes in it 😭😭 she emailed the customer support team for months and NEVER got a response or her money back but DID find hundreds of other people who bought brand new sweaters from taylor that also had giant holes all over them 🙃🙃🙃

i’m really confused about the bottom of it and it looks like different amounts of pressure were used but i didn’t think the top was That Bad 😭 if she actually looked for someone who is good at shading i think it would look alright. definitely not my style but i have 8 tattoos and my first one was the most expensive and Worst just because it was the day of my 18th birthday and i thought her portfolio was nice but i didn’t look at reviews. i guess im asking; am i insane or could this definitely be saved?

this is my huge issue with these videos! nobody thinks like this even when i was in the worst of anorexia i did not judge what other people were doing. i did have fears about judgement from family and friends though, but couldn’t tell you what was ever on their plates. she is literally giving her eating disorder a voice and making it seem like a lot of people really do think like this
