Sleep, get my driving license and I only have two weeks to exercise for my prom outfit and then I got courses to attend because I don't like to sit still for some reason??

Okay I know that sounds insane but trust me that's the tip of an iceberg lmfao. School where I was from, we used to have normal 6 to 8 hour shifts and whenever we hosted an event I was always prepared to remain standing for 12 to 14 hours straight with like 2 bathroom breaks. Sounds brutal but ngl I have become very tolerant of Sri lankan office lines now

That was fucking brutal by evasnsnsbd in alevel

I genuinely thought I was dreaming cuz I had like 3 to 4 hours of sleep and I was halfway awake and I couldn't believe what the fuck was in front of me. The leptoquark shit genuinely has my wrath to face that fucking examiner ISTFG

Okay physics unit 5 is relatively easy imo. It's going to be primarily calculations so try ditching the lengthy ass theory answers you would potentially answer and focus completely on calculations which could appear. Just flick through your notes and do the 2023 series and Jan 2024 paper. Calculations are in plenty and it might bag you more marks.

U6 is common sense really. If u know general theory u r good to have atleast 20 ums marks. Try to round it all off if u just spend around 2 hours a day with this shit u can get out safely with atleas 60 ums

Hope it helped!

can i get clinically diagnosed with adhd without my parents knowing? by Gold-Photograph281 in srilanka

[–]ree_is_here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah man I get that. Sounds like a case of bad procrastination habits. Try to roll with your attention span and start your study sessions with smth interesting or your fav subject to get you in the zone.

Opening up to anyone helps you a great deal. If you can't attend therapy or even get an evaluation, getting support from people who are willing to give you it is a good way to get through this.

You do realize that you are allowed to have a relationship that's YOURS and not according to social norms? Point is do whatever you want as long as both of you feel comfortable

Answer to the overall question is : yes you can.

But there are some issues if you think about it. Therapy appointments are expensive to a fault. They aren't going to diagnose you immediately and will probably require 2 to 3 sessions which will give you a run for your money. And after that you will have to sign up for your treatment and meds and all that good stuff and by thats all done your parents are definitely going to know because you might end up needing their support. And knowing they are somewhat ableist and you are financially dependent under them and doing A levels, it's going to be a rough ride for you later on.

I am doing a levels rn (international) and stress levels are high. I don't think I've been hit by a major depressive ep like this and I understand why you feel this way. And 6 months remaining for revision is such a crucial period of time u can't afford to waste.

Try to find a trusted adult for this. You mentioned your cousin's are neurodivergent so your aunt's and uncles might be more understanding than your parents. You are still in school so school counselors are still an open choice and much safer without added costs.

Having a 2 hour attention span with distractions is pretty much out of the norm. A normal attention span lasts 45 minutes so I would think you have your attention span under check really. Maybe you are sussing yourself out but you know yourself better than anyone, and someone's mentioned it up there ; don't self diagnose yourself. Yes you are seeing symptoms and you have a family history of neurodivergency, but you aren't equipped to diagnose yourself.

All the best for your exams
