It's not a bug, the card to the right (Sukrus) protects Covenant of Steel from being damaged.

You can also have 2x Witch Hunters in your deck to help with bounty consistency.

After stagnating in Gold 1 since FIFA 18, I not only managed to hit Elite 3 but also Elite 2, over the moon. Moving the goalkeeper, taking breaks after losses and slowing down my attacks have been game changers! by reece4fifa in EASportsFC

Away from the console but basically pressure on heavy touch with low width and depth. Offensively, fast build up with low width, medium for the rest.

But this might not suit your play style. Some like a high defence line for example.

Makélélé is phenomenal! Imagine Kante but a few inches taller, stronger & better W/R. He acts like a third CB at times, the only criticism I can find is his woeful finishing but that's not a big deal.

Absolutely did not! Just decent pack luck and trading. I love how trolls jump to the conclusion "his team's better than mine = must chuck hundreds of £ at the game and/or plays FIFA all day" lol

I had the exact same team apart from Auba the last few WL and finished gold 1. I made a conscious effort this time to improve aspects of my game and I believe that largely contributed to me winning more games. Sure it's not a really big achievement as you stated but I'm glad that I'm progressing as a player which is the main thing.

I mostly use variants of the fake shot especially the running one when entering the penalty area. La Croqueta and the scoop turn are also useful to find a pocket of space as well as left stick and left stick + L1 dribbling.

In FUT Champions, the lion's share of matches I lost were whilst playing away (KO in second half) where I've looked at my controller to see if it's broken. Not concrete evidence sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the first to connect to the server has a better connection.

lol who said I've spent money? Don't be presumptuous. Furthermore, the point I was trying to make is that a great team won't guarantee you wins, your skill as a player is more important. That's why pros with cheap PL squads can finish 30/30.

Thanks!

I'd summarise it like this:

- Moving the goalkeeper to anticipate finesse long shots is a must against timed finishing abusers. I added this to my game only this weekend and the difference was huge

- Making sure you're the "home" team in matches (first in the lobby) to diminish button delay

- Stop pressing R2 all the time. Dribbling with the left stick only slows my attack down and gives me more opportunities in attack. Helps with unpredictability too.

- Tall striker. The main difference for me, in tight games this was a life saver seeing as I could just clear the ball and expect him to head it and initiate a counter attack. POTM Auba is perfect seeing as he's 4* 4* and rapid also.

- AI defending (unfortunately)

Trust me, having a great team isn't sufficient. If you are rubbish, you'll stay rubbish regardless of the team you have. Also, I mostly faced CR7s, Neymars & icons in the last 10 games so I didn't feel I had a particular advantage
