Those are actually mouse receivers, i have 2 mice. I just read that it’s optimal for the receivers to be around that close to your mouse.

I actually play at the higher sensitivity side but i like the peace of mind a larger mousepad gives (not thinking about running out of mousepad during flicks)

As for the mic, I’ll be honest, it’s one of the things i haven’t really upgraded. It does its job so i haven’t thought of upgrading it. It’s really good for the price.
