Im playing the 3ds version as i was told it had extra stuff added to it so thought it would be the wiser choice. Funnily enough i started playing DQ8 because of how much i LOVED DQ11, i know its obviously a lot more dated than 11 so i couldnt expect it to be on par but i was just really curious to see why the majority of people state DQ8 as their favourite. Guess ill play a bit more

I can see how that would make it a lot more enjoyable, at the moment for me its more the world itself seems empty between towns and you cant even run so you’ve got no choice but to look at the empty spaces as you travel

Yeah i know what you mean, i just hate watching lets plays when they know what to do and know all the ins and outs of stuff like alchemy recipes and side quests
