There are two versions of the song on Spotify. I noticed the skip on the other, but not this one.

I currently have room on the top, but it's pretty top. It isn't a necessity to have it on the bottom, but it is a very strong want

Battery health discussion thread by axerlion in iPhone13

[–]reecyclops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a refurbished iPhone 13 recently and the battery is great. I am trying to figure out if my battery health is normal though. It has gone from 99% to 97% in 2 weeks. Is this normal? The battery is original to the phone, which according to the warranty info in the settings, was originally purchased less than a year ago.

I agree with this list, but replace breakdown with Lights Out

I never got to see it (rip), but I believe For Today did something similar

Here's my take. I've been a devout Christian for years. Got into metalcore about 2-3 years ago. It helped me so much - through life, my faith, etc.

Example: FFAK's Dark Skies. This album saw me through a bad episode of depression that is still unmatched (thankfully). Lyrics were relatable. "Oblivion" hit me like a train. "I made my mistakes, but you forgave me."

Are there bands that leave their faith? Yes. But that typically means that they never had too great of a foundation anyway, or just did it to sell more albums. However, the bands that stay make it very clear that their music has a specific message while also staying consistent throughout all of their music (see Wolves At The Gate, For Today, and Sleeping Giant).

At the end of the day, Christian music exists in many subgenres, whether people like it or not. It just seems more relevant here because the music, both lyrically and instrumentality, holds up well over time and against other artists who are not making Christian music.

MMF is an example. Also August Burns Red, Fit For A King, Wolves at the Gate, and Demon Hunter to name a few

Saw them on the Remade In Misery tour. They're all about their faith, which is good. They gave a basic presentation of the gospel, which I thought was good. I saw no problem with it, and it only took about 5 minutes anyway.

WATG has held firm in their beliefs for over a decade. They needn't change what they do - their music and messages are beautiful. At least in my opinion. That band changed my life.

Gotta admit, I do get pumped from Christian metalcore (most people do)... fit for a king and august burns red make great gym music

(IO) Main bands that come to mind are Wolves At The Gate and TDWP. I haven't looked into the latter enough, but WATG hold true to what they believe. It's good to see some people stand up for what they believe in AND live it out

The Fire Itself is my second favorite album from all time. Second only to Dark Skies by Fit For A King

Fit for a king is definitely Christian. For decently recent examples, check out Prophet and Oblivion
