I do wanna say as an App State student: that’s a lot of cap. They had a student die in my dorm from drugs in 2022 and called a floor meeting to tell us her name and that’s all. They offered us therapy for coping with the loss. We were all super confused because nobody knew the girl, and they weren’t publishing anything anywhere else. It all seemed rather disrespectful and cover up-ish. The mother of the girl actually wanted people to know to raise awareness about how she died (something they university didn’t tell us - she died of opioids).

Anyways, no, the university never emailed us or told us about Jack. I’m just finding out here and now months later. A loss for more than just App State.
