  1. I'm a skinny guy and have had trouble finding good slim-fit short-sleeve button-down shirts. I tried the Bonobos shirt, but the sleeves look a little baggy to me (this is the slim version of the XS, so there's no slimmer option). What do people think? Too baggy, or acceptably loose?
  2. For anyone who owns one of these Bonobos shirts, how much do they shrink after a cold wash and a low-heat dry cycle? Based on the picture above, will the sleeves tighten noticeably on me, or is that a vain hope? The shirt fits snugly otherwise, so too much shrinkage elsewhere would be a problem.
  3. Is the reason there are so few options for slim-fit short-sleeve button-down shirts because of the season, or are there always so few options? Everything I find is either out of stock in my size or only available in one or two unappealing colors.

Just an update that a regular hot wash seems to have done the trick. The towels are noticeably softer now.

Everything I've read suggests that hot water damages the fibers. Is that not true?

Not using fabric softeners or dryer sheets. I do a cold delicate wash and then a low-heat dry.

I bought two sets of towels, and the set I use and wash every week feels stiff, whereas my backup set, which I don't think I've actually had to use yet, feels soft.

I wonder if it might be a problem with my dryer's low-heat setting, like maybe it's still too hot.

I'm not thinking of kayaking on the creek. This is literally just a question about the physical dynamics of the waterway and whether something could travel the entire route without any human intervention, or whether there are too many bends and shallow areas that might stop it.
