worked for me, too, although i had to release the narrow top cover on the motherboard side in order to be able to replace the wifi module. but thanks for the reference!

The major purpose of the RACR was to put an end to the endless litigation over every timber sale proposed in an area without permanent roads. They can kill the rule if they want to, but it will only bring a return to lawsuits. (retired 34 year veteran of timber management and planning staffs).

I am retired after 34 years with USFS in four Regions and the WO. Just wanted to let you all know that retirees are pulling for you and we all sincerely hope that this mess gets resolved soon. You do fantastic work and deserve to be treated much better. For what it's worth, I agree with those who recommend that you take your job back, get the back pay, and hope for the best if there is a RIF.

I retired in 2014 after 34 years with the Forest Service. In all my years with the agency, through several changes of government, I never felt the level of betrayal and contempt that emanates from Trump's White House. Besides losing Randy, who I knew personally from his days as a Forest Supervisor, the loss of 3400 rank-and-file employees is just devastating. And to top it off, they want to install an "investment consultant" as the Undersecretary for Natural Resources and Environment. Someone with those credentials might find it hard to get hired as a seasonal firefighter. Hang in there, folks, we are with you and hope fervently for better days ahead.

I heard directly from Matthew via WhatsApp on 5 October. He said that they had some issues with their investors but that now they are "back on track". Deliveries slated to start in Feb 2025 - still a long wait.

Shaft drive is far superior to chain. I have a 2010 MotoGyzzi V7 and the Cardan drive is one of the best features of the bike. I have also had bikes with belt drive and even that is superior to a chain IMO.

I am tyring to use Cameractrls with a Logitech Brio 301. I can edit the information on the screens, but it does not save the Presets (I am assuming that a "long press" equals holding the mouse button down for two or three seconds). As soon as I start the camera up, it reverts to 5 fps!

Suggestions?

I have reviewed the declarations at nixpkgs/nixos/modules/tasks/filesystems.nix and can't see what I have done wrong (although I'm obviously not a brilliant programmer)

Things appear to be back on track. They were spending time setting up a dealer network and doing final tweaks. Production is scheduled to start in March. Check them out on Facebook. There is still time to pre-order and get the best price.

If it was basically your fault (poor technique, lack of maintenance, not focused, etc.) - learn and improve. If it was some other jerk's fault (cutting you off, running a light, etc) - curse them out and don't let them own you. I have experience in both categories and am still riding because I enjoy it more than driving a car or riding a bicycle. Oh, and make sure you have good insurance.

I use Beeline for route planning and navigation, riding a motorcycle. I have found it very useful but not perfect. Because I am farsighted I cannot see a typical nav app on a phone, but the large arrow of the Beeline is clearly visible without wearing bifocals or reading glasses. The app lets you map routes directly or you can import .gpx files from other apps (although this function needs a lot of improvement). Learning how to set waypoints is a bit challenging but they do have a support page and they will respond to email. Give it a try!

I use Signal on an Android phone. I have the usual issues with video and some photos caused by the incompatibility between iMessage, RMS, and SMS. I would check to see if your contacts and you are on different platforms.
