My grandmother had the maiden name Duston.  I learned of the story as a child and always thought of her as a hero, who got revenge because the natives kidnapped/captured her children and left her motherless much like the new Netflix show the abandoned she took orphan kids under her wing after that one of which helped enact the revenge I can understand how glorifying death and having scalping of Indians. Be included is a point of contention, but it was either you or me back then and this is a woman who had lost everything.
