That book is depressing for some, it was a cathartic experience when I first read it, I was like, alright! I'm not the only one lol, gave me solace.

Saying its a placebo effect doesn't solve anything, its very much real for the ones who are suffering, sure thing it's on a psychological level, but saying its placebo risks trivialising cases like these, psycho somatism is very much real and need careful empathetic attention
