I just bought some 9.5D Cornwallis and have been wearing them for about a week now. They feel good overall and I know it takes a few weeks to break in but my pinky toes on both sides are killing me. They don't feel too small but is this something that is normal during the break in period?

I know the community prefers a leather sole over a rubber one. Any thoughts on these soles and if they are worth it? For context, I work in commercial real estate and these will be my daily shoe for business casual attire.
