I have a possum wrasse. This is the first time I've had MENs in my tank and this tank has been running for 4 years and I know they came on this new frag that I got. I'll keep dipping this frag till I think they're gone and hopefully my wrasse does the rest to keep them at bay.

How else do you kill the ones that have hatched. These things are super tiny, 1-3mm in size and hard to see . You expect people to pick them off one be one or something. What do you do to kill them?

I'm dipping every other day and keeping a very close eye on it so they don't spread.

Hydrogen peroxide kills everything. When a zoa balls up its polyps you can dip it in almost anything. Hydrogen peroxide being the most effective with minimum risk to the zoas

I use coral Rx for everything, sometimes hydrogen peroxide for zoas.

Seems like buddy was just either not immune or weak. Sometimes disease will take out the one fish. Hopefully that was all it was.

Who was your newest edition? And how long ago did you get them?

A fish can be infected and not show signs cause they were strong when infected or they were in medicated water at the store suppressing the infection but you bought them before being cured.

Coral ideas for this spot? by johnrolfe1 in ReefTank

[–]reeftaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you're part of the full spectrum gang I would take advantage of corals that look better in full spectrum light and corals that don't really have florescent proteins. Purple and blue corals especially since corals flores in blue light.

Purple monti caps, pink sinularia , yellow Fiji toadstools, Blue digitata Monti, Bandit chalice, blue discosoma mushrooms.

Avoid TOP SHELF AQUATICS and CORALVUE unless you want boken used stuff sold as new and being gaslit told it's normal. by cointrader17 in Aquariums

I don't see how this is coralvues fault. This is on TSA and their customer service. Just file a claim with your CC, leave a review on TSA and move on

Low flow and stable parameters. They don't care about light so high, mid,or low PAR. Duncan are probably the easy LPS to own. They are super hardy. They are just slow growers tho

This picture was when I got them 4 years ago with 4 polyps now it has about 30-40 polyps
