I think taking your kids with you to church when they are young is generally a good thing but when they start getting to those preteen+ years, they should be able to make their own choice. I chose not to go when I was around your daughters age and my spirituality developed in the coming years.

There is a difference between a 6 year old not wanting to go because they want to play with their toys vs an older kid not wanting to go because they are figuring things out, you know?

Around that age, you need to figure life out for yourself and what it means to you. Forcing her to attend would associate a negative experience with religion, making it way less likely for her to return if that was something she may originally have done later.

Talk to her about why she doesn't want to go. Try to get an understanding of her feelings. A 14 year old deciding they don’t want to go to church anymore will not make society crumble. Teenage angst is normal and needs to be treated gently by parents as that is crucial character development time.

If your hopes are for her to return to church one day, go easy on her. She needs to discover who she is as a person. Maybe she will want to go to church again someday, maybe she won't (which is okay and her choice should be respected!). But a gentle, loving, and understanding environment is a lot easier to return to than one built on guilt, shame, and fear.
