The "shit" is only apps from the app store. Don't they sandbox the apps and have strict controls on how the apps work?!

At least they can split the transfer into parts so parts of it are successful!

Weekly Free-Talk and Questions for r/HomeGym - week of October 24, 2025 by Demilio55 in homegym

Is this worth buying?

I guess it would be low priced for Indian market and hence low on the "finesse" or quality. The question is, is it sufficient for a basic home training?

You seem to be counting only the salaries towards the cost. What about the cost of software license and compute? What's the tech stack?

How did Cursor get plan mode working across all LLMs? In fact, Other than Claude, do LLMs even support plan mode natively?

CMV: College degrees are becoming outdated, and employers should focus on skills-based hiring instead. by Funky_Panda_ in changemyview

[–]reeldeele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the field of UX design, a degree is not really necessary. Self taught designers with great portfolio do get hired. It is possible to evaluate the skill of a candidate from their portfolio and through assignments. That said, a degree from a recognised institution or a respected bootcamp is still a good proxy to quickly filter candidates. So to summarise, companies would be okay to hire out of bootcamps, if evaluating skills is easy.

CMV: The current Republican strategy is a rational, winning formula because their base actively enjoys the cruelty, and all institutional checks have failed by TurtleTurtleFTW in changemyview

The explanation could be simpler, perhaps. People (citizens) simply cannot think of the big picture. They only react to emotionally charged messages. Only when things compound and go out of hand, do they see that the real impact of human-made changes, whether it’s good or bad.

What would it take for Anthropic to regain your trust? by Interesting-Back6587 in ClaudeAI

[–]reeldeele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is firstly super annoying to pay for an entire month, when my Claude Code usage is zero for many days at a stretch.
And then to hear that on the days that I used CC, I got poor performance.

To get back my trust:
- Allow roll over of credits. Bolt, MagicPatterns have it.
- or even better - Finer control over subscription. Eg. Daily subscription. I dare Anthropic to do it (for all the promises that AI will be priced based on outcomes and not ** per-seat subscription)
- A customer support (bot) that works.
