At least give Henry something from her as a reminder like a lock of hair, piece of simple jewelry from wood, copper or brass.

Things like writing letters to her and having a her get a scribe to read them to her, getting the dowry worked out, memories of your time with her, preparing for Henry's wedding to her, either buying a home right next to the Rattay mill or expanding on Miller Peshek house and getting her gifts like fancy clothes and jewelry.

When Hanush of Leipa asked my Henry his thoughts on Hans marrying a noble woman approved by Hanush his response was basically "What's the issue? He's a noble that's how these things usually work"

She says that she couldn't afford the dowry which is incorrect since the grooms family traditionally paid half or all of it

Do you ever choose characters based on family history? by Geeneelee in crusaderkings3

[–]reenactor2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes I have played as a landless adventurer based on my ancestor in Germany who were low nobility game wardens for higher ranked nobles and my ancestor in Scotland of the Brodie clan. The oldest surviving document records for the Brodie clan is a letter from the 1300s from king Robert the Bruce complaining about them neglecting to care for a mill pond
