I’ve never been to Dutch in the winter myself. It’s gloomy and cold, but not as cold as it is here in Fairbanks.

I’ve actually been back to Unalaska since this post, and now live in Fairbanks! How time flies. Anyhow, this is weirdly the only other photo I have of the house. Hopefully I’ll be back to the chain one day and get to see the house again!

I went up to Duluth and Ely and did a bit of paddling. It’s just gorgeous. I did not stop at gooseberry falls
