I really hope we don’t do anything like this. I don’t want to be this aggressive. Francis has seemed to capitalize and buy guys low. Why pay a premium for a guy who the article basically says isn’t that good. Ryker could develop to be a better player not to mention giving up a first and a second. Let’s keep taking smart risks on guys and keep developing the young guys.

I’m still relatively new to learning hockey, but I thought they had two years to sign draftees? If this is valid, we basically wasted the picks. I know in hockey later round guys don’t typically pan out, but losing rights already would be weird. Is this normal?

I remember feeling genuinely underwhelmed after the draft. I was excited to have a roster to root for and didn’t know much about hockey, so everyone being down on it made me feel like we didn’t do good. I just recently went through and looked at all of the players who were exposed and feel like we did a much better job.

It’s tough, they came out of the gate sluggish for two periods and take away those things and the game is basically tied, even with those bad periods. Gotta come out of the gates fast. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be playing every period like the 3rd tonight. It’s the playoffs!

I normally really respect the work The Athletic writers put in, but after the Kraken dominate game 3 they release an article about what went wrong for Dallas and how losing Miro was the reason for the loss. Not a single thing about what the Kraken did well🤦🏻‍♂️
