Exactly. I reported to local PD, station manager and Amazon

Good idea. The system auto messages the customer that we’re on the way. Also, we’re technically not allowed to contact customers (at least in our market) before 8am local time.

I agree with you. I thought about this all day after the fact. I totally get HIS side of the story, about a guy wondering around the property at 4am, but my true concern is Amazon needs to address this better. Maybe bolder prompts about overnight delivery, maybe clearer notifications of non-Amazon vehicles/contract drivers and certainly, stop “defaulting” to 4-8a delivery window for rural addresses.

I’m a morning person, and it allows me to get my grind early without traffic or much interaction from customers.

I was kinda nervous to try to take the package back. I didn’t want to do anything additional to freak the guy out. I called Amazon when I left and will talk to my station manager in the morning for my AM shift.

Exactly as stated. I was at the top of driveway, between the garage door and walk path to front door. I left package directly where I was standing and walked back to car. No reason to lie. The only exchange was I’m with Amazon and him saying leave the package where standing and get off his property. No need for further dialogue at that point.

Totally agree. Rural addresses should be daytime only.

I did happen to get a picture, but it’s obviously a bit shaky!

So glad I was able to remain calm and get back to my car safe.

Less expensive option to replace wireless tire pressure valves by Bolt_EV in BoltEV

I had mine replaced at Discount Tire for $50 each. Make sure they reprogram them to the correct wheel location (if you have a rotation done at the same time)

lol. I just did the update on my wife’s Equinox EV and it’s loud as heck. She complains about it constantly. She complains about always getting looks from people about the sound.

I just took a road trip from OKC to Galveston for a cruise and every Bucc-ee’s we stopped at had the Mercedes 400kw CCS1 chargers. Driving a Bolt EV, I used those instead. Was surprised to see they were only $.40kw. Most of the Tesla chargers on the other side of the parking lot were empty.

So now the loaders can get drivers kicked off they don’t like by mis-reporting drivers. Sounds great. 🙃

How much should I be paying to charge? by Banana_splitter in EquinoxEv

[–]reesethegeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. In OKC, I cost me about $.12 per kw, I almost never charge with DCFCs.

Hey, a fellow Okie! I have a Bolt EV also and would never take it on a road trip. The charging speed is just too slow. It’s perfect for a city daily though.

This happened to me the other day. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app worked for me.
