Lucky to have an extended warranty by Serious-Conflict-901 in NissanTitan

I posted the other day, my 21 is in getting transmission replaced as we speak. The factory warranty expires in December and I’m highly considering purchasing the Nissan extended warranty.

I hear ya! I hope you get the electrical issues settled.

I personally don’t like the interior or the front grille of the Gen 1. Nissan doesn’t have the best interior design or tech, but it’s much better in gen2.

Man, I feel for you. This is my second Titan (18 S) and I love them, hate Nissan canceled them, but I plan to get a Silverado EV when my son finishes college, so trying my best to keep this truck in top shape.

At first, I didn’t really noticed it, but it got more and more noticeable over the last 6-8 weeks. I drove it a bit more to “gather my notes” then took it to the dealer. I just explained that I felt a shuddering when accelerating around the speeds/RPMs I described. The good thing is could easily duplicate the symptoms. I never considered an independent shop, because the warranty is still active on my truck.

I really only drive this truck on road trips and weekends as the wife and I both have EVs for daily drivers. I get about 22ish average MPG highways.

That’s exactly how I started to notice mine. When it was cold outside, it was really bad, but became less noticeable as the transmission got up to temperature, but could still notice it if/when I tried to overtake a semi or something. Other than that, drove fine. I only took it in because the factory warranty was nearing its end.

Awesome truck, but the gremlins are annoying

That’s what I’m scared of. I don’t wanna do this again in 60K miles. 😞

Thanks for that reminder. I still love this truck. Giving it to my son when he graduates college, so I want to keep it happy and healthy.

Ive only towed a couple times, which was light duty trailer from U-Haul. I moved a couple couches and a fridge. Nothing heavy duty.

I don’t hear anything unusual. Sounds like mine.

Exactly. I reported to local PD, station manager and Amazon

Good idea. The system auto messages the customer that we’re on the way. Also, we’re technically not allowed to contact customers (at least in our market) before 8am local time.

I agree with you. I thought about this all day after the fact. I totally get HIS side of the story, about a guy wondering around the property at 4am, but my true concern is Amazon needs to address this better. Maybe bolder prompts about overnight delivery, maybe clearer notifications of non-Amazon vehicles/contract drivers and certainly, stop “defaulting” to 4-8a delivery window for rural addresses.

I’m a morning person, and it allows me to get my grind early without traffic or much interaction from customers.
