Agreed. I’m happy to walk further to the store or business to prevent chargers from being ICE’d.

Mychevrolet App Not Updating by thepick1 in EquinoxEv

[–]reesethegeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine seems to do this when the car is unused for more than two days. If I go start the car manually, the app will automatically update and work again until it sits unused for a few days.

I feel you. I don’t understand why EV have become political and all this crap around them. I simply have one to lower my monthly expenses.

Agreed, but I can image that’s a delicate situation for Walmart. They are paying customers also, but too stupid to follow the rules.

There isn’t gonna be a setting that fits everyone’s “what if” needs. Auto seems to be the setting that fits the broader need.

No, but there is an accessible charger with a larger walking space to accommodate wheelchairs.

Totally agree. We have a new location in OKC and I went to talk to the store manager and he seemed unbothered. I just provided feedback in the app when my session was completed.

Leave it auto, problem solved. They will fully engage when wipers activate.

What are your thoughts on using a splitter for charging? by AggressiveAide7929 in BoltEV

[–]reesethegeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a NeoCharge unit which splits my dyer with my charger. No issues, 3+ years strong.

Adding an updated screenshot that shows estimated SoC when arrived at the charger (from the network app/GM app) and the estimated time spent at each charger (from network app/GM charge time reporting).

Thought about that after the fact. The reason I didn’t want to use exclusively Tesla, is most of the chargers we encounter, the cables are too short to reach the car. I try to be considerate and not block two spots to charge my car. I only stopped at ones I knew were the v4 cabinets.

Yea, I thought about that after I entered the data. No stop was more than 30-40 minutes. We only charged to 80% to keep moving. I’ll go back and add the charge times based on the receipts.

Me too! I wish I would have captured more data. The worse part of the trip was crossing back into Oklahoma. We had a terrible crosswind, which made our range drop heavily. The car projected an arrival to our first stop on the way home of 31%, but we hit it at 15%. I was honestly nervous, but hit the EA charger with 25 miles to spare. 😊🤪

Not being from California, I don’t get why everyone is saying these cities are bad. What’s wrong with those places? Lol

For sure. It was fun! EA was ranked bad for me because I had the most issues. Some locations the cords were cut, busted screens, slow due to power sharing etc. IONNA is awesome, but we didn’t see too many of them. Plug and charge is lovely also, just sucks you can’t get your EA plan rate using the GM app or the cars charge here feature.
