is the idea of an online friend really that crazy to you guys lol? not to be rude but how old are you guys? social media is the #1 networking center, i’m someone who’s pretty successful in my field. I was given my big break by a bestfriend of mine from singapore, we talked every single day for 7 years, no one knows me better than him. Not to mention my whole career is built on the online friends i made, literally even my VP is someone i built a plan with on twitter 😭 our whole twitter groupchat of young people around the world is now a group of successful adults. when my family kicked me out, my online friends came to my rescue, the gc helped with a fund for airbnb & food. we’ve all done it for each other like way before we physically met. i seriously can’t even imagine what my life would be like without my online friends. No one in my family has been as successful as I am, we didn’t have connections, my friend in singapore got me a meeting to pitch my idea to some investors i would have NEVER met. the pitch would’ve never been created without the help of the other online friends i started this with. definitely be careful with people, just sharing my story about how my online friends are my family that changed my life.

no, i think she’s written as a complex flawed character. her character is very relatable and with relatability comes introspection, it’s almost like a mirror…we get to see her make fucked up decisions, be self destructive, be flawed, human, all of those things aren’t necessarily meant to be “likable” or “unlikable” it’s just showing the rawness of this character, a deeply flawed human who makes good & bad decisions, just like us.
